Oberth Effect

Oberth Effect is a top-down space shooter where you guide your out-of-control spaceship across the galaxy by firing your gun to steer, utilising planets and wormholes to avoid hazards.

Controls

• Space Bar - To start the ship moving
• Left Click - To fire the ship gun (in the direction of the mouse), which steers your ship
• Right Click - To exit orbit from planet
• Q or Pause Button - To pause the game or reset stage

Known issues

• When you shoot at a pirate your shot effect won't disappear.
• SFX option doesn't actually switch off the SFX.
• Minimap icons are not correctly scaled.
• Occasionally when exiting orbit and left clicking, ship will rotate incorrectly.
• The player name and the level name sometimes spill over the UI background.
• Hitting the centre of a blackhole can sometimes crash the game...
