Doctor Voltz is a puzzle platformer in which you play as a mad scientist that has accidentally swapped his body with that of his genetically modified pet electric gecko. Aided by his new electrically charged gecko body, the Doctor must escort his human body through the dangerous trap-filled lab in order to make it back to the Mind-Swap-O-Matic safely.

Controls

  • Left/Right arrow keys to move the player
  • Up arrow key to jump
  • Press spacebar to take/give an electrical charge
  • Hold left-shift to speed up the Doctor
  • Press R to restart from a checkpoint
  • Press ESC/P to pause

Known issues

  • Recommended that the game is run in Chrome. There are graphical issues with Safari.
  • Some low end PCs may have graphical issues and visual stutters.
  • Uncommon camera bug at the beginning of levels - camera may move back and forth suddenly.
  • Occasionally the epilogue may not work - we think we've fixed this but it may appear. If nothing happens when you approach the mind-swap-o-matic at the end of the third level, press Q to go back to the main menu.
  • Very rare bug in WebGL builds where moving platforms may not move when switched on.
